Sans V Tasting Room features the wines of three San Diego wineries. Each winery has its own focus and specialty, but all three produce wines from San Diego County grown grapes.
Stehleon Vineyards’ wines are San Diego grown and produced. Owned by Al and Lisa Stehly, their management company cares for the vines which produce the grapes for their vintages. Small, custom vineyards are hand pruned and the fruit hand harvested. The making of the wine has become a family affair with daughter, Alysha Stehly, as winemaker.
In July 2013 Stehleon Vineyards established an urban winery in Escondido and opened the adjoining tasting room in January 2014. With plantings of Rhone varietals at Sunrise Ranch coming into production, Stehleon Vineyards will be expanding their collection of wines – wines that always pair well with friends.
Vesper Vineyards is a winery that focuses exclusively on San Diego County fruit, sourcing grapes from all areas of the county. Focusing on what the vineyard has to offer, each wine is meant to showcase the vineyard and the microclimate it was grown in.
Jack Simon Vineyards
Jack Simon Vineyards is a California wine estate producing Rhone and Iberian blends and varietals. The vineyard sits high in the foothills of Palomar Mountain with an ocean view 30 miles to the west. The vineyard terroir consists of decomposed granite, plenty of sunshine and cool ocean breezes blowing unobstructed through the coastal valleys to our unique location. Warm days and cool nights, well draining soils that retain warmth make for ideal wine grape cultivation.
